Select the country and object's type Stylist - Slovenia is the 4th best travel destination

The British web portal Stylist, operating under the auspices of Stylist magazine, has published the list of the best travel destinations of the year, prepared by Paul Croughton, editor of the tourist section of The Sunday Times. Slovenia is ranked in 4th place among the 10 recommended destinations.

The list primarily contains exotic destinations; besides Slovenia, only North Finland (2nd place) and Vienna (5th place) are mentioned out of European destinations.

Slovenia is described as a small country that surprises guests with several interesting features. Special emphasis is placed on Maribor as the 2012 European Capital of Culture.

Readers of the portal were also able to compete for holidays in Slovenia as part of a contest.
